The Cameroonian ministry of sports announces dates of the 2021 AFCON/CHAN

 

The minister of sports and phisical education and the COCAN president hereby announce to the general public that the expected AFCON championship will take place in the following towns and dates.

The Town of Yaounde: Lawnching of the competition at the 'Stade de polyvalent des sports, 27/12/20 at 11:00

The town of Douala: On the 29 December 2020

The town of Limbe-Buea: On the 30 December 2020

        In this regard, the minister of sports and the COCAN president wish that the Cameroonians to reserve an admirable and patriotic welcome.

    It should be noted that this was supposed to happen in 2020. It is the covid19 pandemic and the W.H.O proactive prevention meassures that orchestrated its postponement to 2021. This was coupled with the 4 years 'Anglophone conflict rocking the two English speaking regions.
